Growing up in a musical family with parents who played instruments, Abigail Joy was practically singing in the womb. Her earliest memories are of belting out Gospel and Motown tunes, and as soon as she could buy her own CDs, she dove headfirst into the world of Pop. But it wasn’t until she studied vocals in London at age 20 that she began to realize her true potential. With the help of her uncle, she started producing her own music – a passion that only intensified after becoming a mother.
What sets Abigail apart is her unapologetic vulnerability. She wears her heart on her sleeve, pouring raw emotion into every lyric. And despite the challenges of motherhood, she taught herself to produce music, even recording her single “LGMY” in her tiny Toronto apartment.
