Eric Bellinger is putting his own name and story front and center with a deeply personal new R&B project built around love, family, growth and vulnerability.

Eric Bellinger has released his self-titled album, Eric Bellinger, a 10-track project that arrived August 21. The record is out through Tamla/Evolve Music Group and gives the singer-songwriter a focused solo showcase after years of prolific releases and collaborations.

The album opens with “I Need Help” and moves through “Cry In Front Of You,” “How Could I Not,” “Closure,” “Thank You For Telling Me No,” “Just Like You,” “Fatherhood,” “Heavy Is The Crown,” “This One’s For Me” and “Everything Is In Order.” The tracklist keeps the spotlight entirely on Bellinger, with no featured artists listed across the 10 songs.

Bellinger has framed the project as one of his most personal statements to date. Ahead of the release, he wrote on Instagram that “This album has been living in my head for a long time. Every title tells a story,” according to ABC Audio.

Several songs had already introduced that direction before the full album arrived. “Cry In Front Of You” leaned into emotional openness, while “Just Like You” honored Bellinger’s late mother and “Fatherhood” explored his experience as a dad, making family and personal reflection central themes of the rollout.

The release follows Bellinger’s 2024 project It’ll All Make Sense Later and its 2025 continuation, It All Makes Sense. Those records expanded his sound through global R&B influences, while the self-titled set turns the focus back toward the experiences and relationships that have shaped him personally.

With Eric Bellinger, the veteran singer-songwriter is using a self-titled release to present a more direct portrait of himself at this stage of his career. The album is available now across major streaming platforms.
