TiANYU, a Chinese-Canadian artist, has an impressive story. She began her career as a classically trained pianist, performing at famous venues like Carnegie Hall. “I wanted to connect with people in a new way,” TiANYU says. “Music is about telling stories, and pop music gave me the freedom to tell my story differently.”

“I love that classical music taught me discipline, but pop lets me show more of my personality,” TiANYU explains. “It’s exciting to mix these two worlds together.”
Her music has already made an impact. Her work has been featured in the TV series Forty Nine Days·Fiesta, and she performed the theme song for The Power Source, which reached #6 on the China Music Billboard.

TiANYU is not just a musician. She’s also an actor and model. She has appeared in CW’s Kung Fu and has been featured in commercials. This allows her to explore different ways of storytelling, not only through music but also through acting and visual arts.
“Art, in any form, is about sharing experiences,” TiANYU says. “Whether it’s music, acting, or modeling, I want to connect with people.”

Looking ahead, TiANYU is focused on blending her classical background with pop music even more. She’s working on new music and upcoming EPs, hoping to inspire others to break away from traditions and follow their passions.
“I want my music to touch people and reflect the world we live in,” she says. “I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.”
