Anisa “Ace” Turner, many know her as Ace the Manager from all over but Ace is originally from Virginia. She stepped off the porch in 2021 managing a friend by the name of Splash Bandikoot from Richmond, VA. Over the year she gained connections and quite a presence on Instagram. Artists started hitting her up for management, help, as well as interviews for her platform On the Rocks With Ace.
Ace gained respect not only in the industry but as well as the streets. Artists from jail would find ways to get in contact with her to express their gratitude to her for inspiring them. We asked Ace why she started managing. Her response was pretty explanatory. “I love music, I’ve been behind the scenes for years. I started promoting in high school for Go-Go bands and some artists in the DMV. I love helping people”.
In the first year of managing Ace joined Fatt Macc who was signed to Atlantic Records at the time, management team. She flew out to Houston and set up the Famous Animal freestyle for Macc and the rest was history. Ace resume is amazing for being in the game for 2 years. She’s worked with TreDavinci, Big Slixc, EST artist Selfpaid Savage, Dave East, as well as being apart of the A&R process for sleazy world go upcoming Album.
Ace currently works for 4Lanes Management alongside Bam who manages quite a few artists. One being QC’s own Ed Dolo. Ace also currently manages Waddie Guapo who is signed to 10kprojects & Warner. Ace has her own marketing team called the Umbrella Agency who her partner Ghost is founder of. She works closely with labels and distro like QC, Universal, 10kprojects, Warner, Virgin Music and many more.
