At just 17 years old, the prodigious musician Ødyzon, whose real name is Arnaud, has already carved a unique path in the world of music. From the tender age of 7, he found solace in the enchanting melodies of the piano, soon expanding his repertoire to include the guitar at 11. However, it was his venture into the realm of computer-assisted electronic music at the age of 9 that ignited a passion that continues to burn brightly.
Ødyzon’s love for electronic music led him to release his earliest compositions on various platforms when he was just 14. The turning point came in March 2022 when his mesmerizing electro remix of the track “1pliké140 CANADA” captured the hearts of listeners across France. This success drew the attention of Capitol Records, marking the beginning of a promising collaboration that, unfortunately, met its end due to copyright complications.
In a fortuitous twist of fate, Ødyzon’s musical journey took a new direction in October 2022, when he embarked on an exploration of ambient music. With a stroke of genius, he released an ethereal electro version of the single “Sleepless,” which swiftly garnered attention from Dreamscape, the esteemed Kurate Music label. They invited him to create an ambient rendition of the track, paving the way for a prolific period of ambient music under his alias, Ødyzon.
Unwavering in his pursuit of creative independence, Ødyzon founded his own label, “Palace Records,” in January 2023. This bold move empowered him to promote, distribute, and edit his compositions with complete artistic freedom.
As the stars aligned, mid-January 2023 marked yet another milestone in Ødyzon’s flourishing career. The renowned label “Deep Heads” reached out to collaborate on an EP, set to be released on September 1, 2023. This highly anticipated EP will feature five enchanting tracks that transport listeners to otherworldly realms. Aptly titled “Analog,” the EP boasts sounds that harken back to a bygone era, incorporating real instruments like the Rhodes, infused with Ødyzon’s signature effects.
Beyond the EP, Ødyzon is set to be part of an extraordinary compilation titled “Cosmic Vibrations,” curated by Zeb Samuels, scheduled for release in early 2024. This prestigious compilation will bring together some of the most talented artists in the industry, a testament to Ødyzon’s rising status among musical luminaries.
Amidst the excitement surrounding his upcoming EP and the compilation, Ødyzon has already treated the world to a captivating release titled “Summer Memories.” Unveiled on August 18, this enchanting composition skillfully weaves together pop and ambient elements, creating an ethereal atmosphere that invokes nostalgic summer reveries for listeners.
