What is your name and what city do you rep?
Zae Laws , I’m from the Bronx , Patterson Projects
Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
Well, I just recently released a album. I called the shit “You’re Annoying” cuz my ex kept calling me annoying when I was tryna get back with her.
What is unique about you and your music?
The honesty. I get a lot of flack for the shit I say In my music most of the time from the people I maybe talking about in that particular moment. They hate it. Especially the women I discuss.
What shaped your music?
My life. Literally everything I rap about is my experiences.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
My cousin L, boy really made me start rapping that’s crazy now that I think about it. But yeah him.
What type of music do you listen to?
Whatever Wayne, summer walker, sza, Jhene, Cole, Ross, Thug or Drizzy put out typically.
What inspires you to write music?
for me it’s my form of therapy, feel me. Im able to vent. Tell my truths and sorrows. Even tho I be catching heat for it.
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
Ah nothing creatively. Imma dad if that counts.
What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
The business side versus the creative. The loop holes. I wish coming in I had more guidance on that business aspect.
